We know that around 20% of teens suffer pain that causes them distress and interrupts their schooling.
So, what can schools do to help?
On May 17, the Pelvic Pain Foundation will host a free evening seminar for school nurses and school health counsellors. With three great speakers on teen pain, we’ll help these professionals learn more about how they can help and support teens with pain.
Piper Alderman Lawyers have kindly donated their boardroom in the centre of Adelaide to host the event, and we’ll have light refreshments provided.
Maybe your school would like to be involved?
Places are limited, with detail on the flyer attached.
Please RSVP early to the seminar organiser, Ms Catherine Gabriel at firstname.lastname@example.org
