Susan Evans
Chairperson
Associate Professor Susan Evans is a Gynaecologist, Specialist Pain Medicine Physician, Researcher and Advocate from Adelaide with particular interest in the management of pelvic pain. She is the author of the book ‘Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain’ and has completed a PhD investigating the relationships between period pain, pelvic pain, endometriosis and the immune system. She has a long held interest in improving the Quality of Life of Australians with pelvic pain.

Kathy Allen
Treasurer
Kathy Allen is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience consulting to a wide range of businesses and medical practices. Kathy is a director of Dewings, and specialises in helping businesses improve their management systems, grow their businesses and creatively (and legally) minimise their tax. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and was the inaugural winner of the CA President’s Award, and is also a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Tax Institute of Australia and a member of Family Business Australia.

Alexandra Diggles
Kirsty brings over 20 years of experience in Communications and Sales and Marketing Management within the Medical Industry, including the areas of Fertility, Oncology and Pain Medicine. With a background as a Registered Nurse, she has worked in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Vanuatu. Kirsty has a passion for promoting professional, ethical healthcare and education in order to achieve the very best patient outcomes.
Donna is a Partner at Piper Alderman’s Private Client Services practice, specialising in trusts, succession planning and deceased estates. She is a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), the leading worldwide professional body in the field of trusts, governance, estates and related issues. She is also a committee member of STEP South Australia. Donna advises the Board on issues of governance and policy.
Dr Thu Nguyen is a General Practitioner Registrar, with a special interest in women’s health and chronic pain. She has worked as a junior doctor in Adelaide, Port Lincoln, and Darwin in several specialities including Gynaecology, Palliative care, and Pain Medicine unit at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. She sees several people from diverse backgrounds, ages and genders on a day-to-day basis and has seen firsthand the effects chronic pain has on people’s quality of life and functioning. She is passionate about empowering people to control their pain rather than allowing their pain to control their lives.
Alex Diggles is an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist with over a decade of experience specifically in women’s health. Alex has comprehensive knowledge across a range of clinical areas and is passionate about relieving dysfunction from pain disorders as well as improving symptoms of incontinence and prolapse. She provides ongoing management and treatment for both adolescent or paediatric bladder and bowel disorders and support the woman during pregnancy and beyond. With her specialty scope of practice, Alex is there for the woman across her lifespan. Alex was recently awarded the title of Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health by the Australian Physiotherapy Association and continues to be actively involved in teaching, service promotion and research.

Lucy Cornes
Lucy Cornes is a digital entrepreneur and the creative director of She Digital Advertising. Lucy works with brands and agencies to produce videos, including, online, pre-roll, corporate, branded, training, recruitment, motion graphic and explainer.
