Dr Susan Evans is a Gynaecologist, Laparoscopic Surgeon and Specialist Pain Medicine Physician in Adelaide, with particular interest in the management of pelvic pain. She is the author of the book 'Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain' and co-author of the policy document 'The $6Billion Woman and the $600 Million Girl: The Pelvic Pain Report'. She has a long held interest in improving the Quality of Life for women and girls with pelvic pain.
Kathy Allen is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years’ experience consulting to a wide range of businesses and medical practices. Kathy is a director of Dewings, and specialises in helping businesses improve their management systems, grow their businesses and creatively (and legally) minimise their tax. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and was the inaugural winner of the CA President’s Award, and is also a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Tax Institute of Australia and a member of Family Business Australia.
Donna is a Partner at Piper Alderman’s Private Client Services practice, specialising in trusts, succession planning and deceased estates. She is a full member of the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), the leading worldwide professional body in the field of trusts, governance, estates and related issues. She is also a committee member of STEP South Australia. Donna advises the Board on issues of governance and policy.
Meike has a long history of pelvic pain symptoms and has previously been diagnosed with endometriosis. She is dedicated to helping girls and women that are experiencing chronic pelvic pain, self-manage their condition. Outside her daily job as Head of Delivery & Support for the APAC region of a city based IT company, Meike also co-founded the Endometriosis Network Group SA on Facebook and runs an endometriosis lifestyle blog that focuses on what women can do to self-manage their condition to make the best out of their daily life.
Kirsty brings over 20 years of experience in Communications and Sales and Marketing Management within the Medical Industry, including the areas of Fertility, Oncology and Pain Medicine. With a background as a Registered Nurse, she has worked in Australia, New Zealand, Japan and Vanuatu. Kirsty has a passion for promoting professional, ethical healthcare and education in order to achieve the very best patient outcomes.
Libby Parker is a journalist, teacher and consultant, with a Bachelor of Education from Flinders University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Journalism from University of South Australia. As a teacher, Libby has worked across a range of education sectors. As a journalist, her work has been published in a number of print and online publications.
As an educator and a woman living with Endometriosis, Libby is passionate about ensuring there is better awareness and information available to young women and girls about endometriosis and pelvic pain so patients can present early with symptoms and live a better quality of life.
Vanessa works as dentist and has her own private practice, she has had over twenty years of experience as a health care professional.
Through living with her own chronic pelvic pain she co-founded EndoSupport SA which is an online support group which supports and organizes events for women living with, and affected with, Endometriosis in South Australia.
Vanessa is passionate about helping others with chronic pelvic pain and working with other pelvic pain support groups to promote awareness and education.
Dr Irina Hollington lives in Adelaide and works as an anaesthetist in private practice and has a specialist Pain Medicine Physician appointment at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. She obtained her Fellowship in Anaesthesia in 2013, and recently completed her Fellowship in Chronic Pain Medicine and enjoys having a wide and varied practice in both. Irina has a strong interest in teaching medical students and doctors in training.
