The Pelvic Pain Foundation of Australia is dedicated to driving systemic improvement in the way pelvic pain is understood, managed, and supported across the community.

We are focused on strengthening the health workforce, building collaborative partnerships, and advancing equitable access to care. Our mission is underpinned by a commitment to evidence-based practice, sector-wide engagement, and the pursuit of innovation that improves outcomes for individuals, families, and society.

Mission Objectives:

  • To educate, provide information, promote awareness, and facilitate understanding of treatment options for people with pelvic pain, their families, communities, and associated health care providers and organisations. To improve community access to multi-disciplinary health care teams who support the treatment of pelvic pain.

  • To improve community access to teams of multi-disciplinary health care professionals for pelvic pain.

  • To collaborate with the community including consumers, organisations, health care professionals, employers, and governments to achieve the Foundation’s objectives.

  • To advocate for people living with pelvic pain and their families.

  • We support and encourage innovative research to advance knowledge of pelvic pain, relying on these discoveries to inform best practices in education, advocacy, diagnosis, and treatment.
