Next Steps

Concerned about complex period and pelvic pain? If you are a PPFA Subscriber or you are the guardian of a teen who has recently seen PPEP Talk® at their school, you are invited to attend our Next Steps session. Hosted by Gynaecologist and Pain Specialist, A/Prof Susan Evans and Emma Kirkaldy, our Senior Clinical Educator and Pelvic Physiotherapist, this is the session where you get to unpack what comes next.

Information is general in nature and not specific to your individual needs. This session compliments our PPEP Talk® program and is not open to the general public, other charities or health professionals. Register here.

We’re pleased to welcome back Tahnee Simpson, compounding pharmacist and recent PPFA seminar speaker, for an exclusive online education session for AHPRA-registered PPFA subscribers.

This session will focus specifically on the role of a compounding pharmacist in the multidisciplinary management of pelvic pain, including endometriosis and related conditions. Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in Q&A.

Tahnee will discuss:

  • How compounding pharmacists can collaborate with clinicians managing pelvic pain

  • Commonly used compounded formulations in pelvic pain care (e.g. topical, vaginal and other routes)

  • Practical prescribing considerations, safety and monitoring

  • Case-based examples illustrating how compounding can support individualised pelvic pain management
