Who Can Attend Next Steps Sessions
Next Steps sessions are designed exclusively for young people and their caregivers. They are a protected space where participants may ask questions and share sensitive or personal information about periods, pain, and endometriosis.
To protect the safety, privacy, and trust of attendees:
Medical professionals, allied health professionals, sector leaders, researchers, and representatives of organisations are not permitted to attend.
Members of the general public who are not attending as a young person or their carer are also not invited.
These boundaries are essential to ensure Next Steps remains a safe, respectful, and age-appropriate environment for participants.
PPFA reserves the right to decline registration or refuse entry to any individual who does not meet these criteria or does not respect the purpose of the session.
Camera Use and Safety:
For safeguarding reasons, we strongly encourage attendees to turn on their cameras during sessions so facilitators can verify that participants are who they say they are. This helps us maintain a safe space and minimise the risk of inappropriate or unauthorised attendance.
Thank you for helping us protect the wellbeing and privacy of young people and their carers.
